On June 14, 2020, the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant fully entered the technological mode after scheduled preventive maintenance

During the repair period from 25.04.2020 to 14.06.2020, all the necessary measures were taken for the safe operation of the enterprise in 2020-2021. Among the major ones were: replacement of the internal devices of the K-101, K-103 columns, repair of technological furnaces P-101, P-102 with replacement of coils, repair of the PK-101/2 piston compressor for deep oil refining.

The adsorbents were reloaded at the isomerization unit of the primary oil refining production. The instrumentation and control equipment was upgraded at the S-300/1 section of the LK-6U complex. Obsolete and physically worn-out pneumatic devices were replaced with modern electronic ones. All new devices in the amount of 95 pieces in accordance with the project “Modernization of instrumentation and control equipment of the S-300/1 section” were brought into a distributed control system, which will allow centralized control and control of the technological process in this section. All installation and commissioning works carried out at the time of the stopped technological process are carried out in full.

During the period of planned preventive maintenance, technical inspection, audit, inspection, examination of industrial safety of pressure equipment and vessels (329 units), technological pipelines-1152 units, technological furnaces, repair and replacement of rejected elements and devices of technological equipment and pipelines in accordance with the rules and requirements of industrial safety at hazardous production facilities were carried out.установке изомеризации производства первичной переработки нефти произвели перезагрузку адсорбентов. На секции С-300/1 комплекса ЛК-6У провели модернизацию средств КИПиА.

Due to the repair work during the period of the coronavirus quarantine, all preventive measures were provided at the plant. Serious efforts were made to deliver specialist contractors and deliver materials and equipment on time. All employees of the invited contractors involved in the work passed a PCR analysis, all of them were measured for temperature, all equipment, pipelines and vehicles transported to the territory of the enterprise were disinfected.

Cleaning of the equipment was carried out by contractors "SK Intra" and LLP "Total Service". Equipment inspection and industrial safety expertise were carried out with the involvement of specialized expert organizations, such as LLP “Incom company”, LLP “Kazprombezopasnost PV”, LLP “NPO Defectoscopy” (Karaganda). Examination of metal structures and waste heat boilers - LLP "Gormontazhproekt" (Karaganda).

Repair of technological equipment was performed by: LLP “Megastroyplus”, LLP “Aliansstroymontazh” (Shymkent), “Repair and Installation Management” (Shymkent), LLP “Bert”, LLP “Neftegazstroy PV”.

The work started in 2019 with the aim of further safe operation of the technological equipment of the S-100 ELOU-AT section and the S-300 section for hydrotreating diesel fuel of primary oil refining production continued during the repair period-2020. For these sections, in 2019, JSC "D. V. Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry" conducted an audit and developed corrosion control certificates.

In 2020, these works are being carried out for sections C-200/1 of naphtha hydrotreatment, C-200/2 of catalytic reforming of primary oil refining production, delayed coking and coke calcination of heavy oil residue processing production.

At the moment, the plant is operating normally. And all the measures taken will allow us to maintain production safety at the design level, maintain the quality of the oil products produced by the plant and comply with the necessary environmental indicators.
